COF Tester / Coefficient of friction tester / Peel tester

What is friction coefficient or COF?

Friction Peel

The friction coefficient or COF is a number that indicates the degree of friction between two surfaces.

A distinction is made between static friction coefficient and the dynamic friction coefficient. The static coefficient of friction is the ratio between the maximum friction force before the surfaces start to move in relation to each other and the normal force.

The dynamic coefficient of friction is the ratio between the frictional force and the normal force as the surfaces move relative to each other already.

Friction peel tester

Fp2260

This coefficient of friction tester(COF)/peel tester can measure static and kinetic coefficient of friction, as well as run seal strength tests, 180° peel, 90° peel and T-peel tests.

Inclined surface friction

Cof P01

Inclined Surface Coefficient of Friction Tester is professional applicable to the determination of static coefficients of friction of paper, paper board, plastic films, sheets, convey belts and other materials.

By testing the frictional properties of materials, the open performance of packages, packing speed of packers and other indexes could be controlled to meet requirements for production.
