Atlas’ UVTest is an economical instrument for fluorescent UV and condensation weathering test methods. The instrument uses UVA340, UVB-313, or UVA-351 fluorescent bulbs for a variety of applications. The touch screen provides simple operation and control in several languages. It has patented irradiance ports for safe calibration not offered on competitive fluorescent UV testers. Multiple units can be stacked for space considerations, and a recirculating spray option is available to reduce the amount of DI water used.

Suntest Family

SUNTEST instruments are compact material test chambers for accelerated lightfastness and weathering testing based on filtered xenon lamp technology. All SUNTEST chambers offer a horizontal test plane which is particularly useful for testing 3-D specimens. Lightfastness testing aims at testing a material under solar radiation and temperature only – Weathering testing adds water and moisture to the test.

Inside a SUNTEST, the applied stresses are intensified in such a way that allows you to see the material property changes which would occur over the course of months or years in real time. Property changes such as color fading, embrittlement, cracking become visible within weeks.
